This website is run by CL Farm Mgmt LLC, trading as Volcan Valley Apple Farm, in Julian, California. Using it means you are content with what follows.
If you call our phone line and leave a voicemail, you first hear a spoken notice that we may reply by text. Leaving a message after that notice is your consent to one text reply.
How we handle your number is set out in our privacy policy. In short: we use it to answer you, and we never share it for marketing.
We work hard to keep dates, hours and prices on this site correct, and the season pages are generated from the orchard’s own schedule so they change when it does. Even so, an orchard runs on weather and fruit: opening dates can move, and a weekend can close at short notice. If you are travelling a distance, check this site the day before, or contact us and we will tell you where things stand.
Admission and picking bags are bought at the gate. A working orchard has uneven ground, farm vehicles and livestock nearby; please follow the signs and anything our staff ask you on the day, and keep children and dogs with you.
The text and photographs on this site belong to us. You are welcome to link to any page, and to quote us with attribution. Please do not republish our photographs commercially without asking first — asking usually gets a yes.
